Welcome!
This site, Breathe, Grieve, Believe, is quite simply about the average humanness of this thing called life we are all living and the experiences we have. I'm not an expert at anything - especially life - but I keep trying.
One thing is for sure - most of us go through life completely ignoring the fact that we're all temporary. Another sure thing, life can deliver deadly kicks directly to your throat, drop you to your knees and suck every ounce of air from your body. And you'll never see it coming. You think you will never breathe again. And for a very long time – you might not. But eventually your body takes over and you begin to breathe again. Even in your deepest grief and tragedy, you have to breathe. It might take a while for your breaths to get more even and stronger, but they do. And despite it all you will begin to believe again. What you believe in is your truth. And once we find something to believe in again, we desperately cling to it.
What will you find here? Conversations about the hard things in life that create brokenness within us - and the joys that lift us back up. There will also be understanding, acceptance, hope and love - for whatever you might be facing in your life. I can’t be responsible for anything after that. Just kidding. As I was saying, you'll find a mixture of things about life. Always true, real, at times raw, a little bit snarky, and the occasional word barfing. There is also the possibility there could be some swears too. You might laugh, cry or sometimes wonder - WTH?
It is my deepest hope that you'll find something of value here. Come back again!
One last thing. Did you know there's a theory that life is a simulated reality? That reality isn’t real? Like a hologram. So, if anyone reading this finds out that's true - could you please reboot the damn thing?
